Improving productivity is key to the Aficio™MP 1600L and MP 2000LN, which provide high productivity at 16 and 20 pages per minute respectively. The warm up time is less than 15 seconds, with a first output time of less than 6.5 seconds. The Aficio™MP 1600L holds up to 1,350 sheets while the MP 2000LN holds up to 1,600 sheets. The Aficio™MP 2000LN can also process duplex output at simplex speed.
The new systems are designed for easy operation, even by occasional or novice users. This is achieved through a straightforward operation panel and wizards for easy document processing. To scan books and magazines, users simply need to put them on the platen glass. Once scanned, documents are stored and reproduced from the memory. While the systems are virtually maintenance free, the full front accessibility allows for easy access.
With a market share of 29.3%, the Ricoh Group currently enjoys the no. 1 position in the A3 black & white office copier segment up to 19 pages per minute*. Kaoruko Abe, Product Manager at Ricoh Europe B.V., explains: “This is one of the most important markets for Ricoh in Europe and the MP 1600L/MP 2000LN are key to further growth in the A3 low segment. With these 2 new models we aim to maintain our leading market position.”
User feedback has shown that customers want document workflow systems that can evolve to meet their changing needs. The large capacity and flexibility of the paper trays ensure that the Aficio™MP 1600L and MP 2000LN can meet the requirement for greater output. The Aficio™MP 2000LN also provides seamless network integration with Ethernet interfaces and support for TCP/IP and IPP.
Environmental issues are central to the design of the Aficio™MP 1600L and MP 2000LN. Their very low sound and emission levels ensure that they can be placed at the centre of any office, providing a clean and safe environment for users. Both systems also offer low power consumption and use only toxic free materials.
The Aficio™MP 1600L and MP 2000LN are the latest additions to Ricoh's advanced range of digital office equipment. Ricoh currently manufactures one of the world’s most extensive line ups of printers, copiers, scanners, faxes and multifunctional devices, and offers advanced software solutions as well.
